Saif Ali Khan has been discharged from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, five days after being stabbed multiple times during a home invasion. The 54-year-old actor sustained six knife wounds, including serious injuries to his spine, neck, and hands, necessitating surgery.

The incident occurred in the early hours of January 16, 2025, at Khan's residence in Bandra. The intruder, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shehzad, a Bangladeshi national living under the alias Vijay Das, allegedly entered the home with the intent to commit theft. During the confrontation, Khan was stabbed near his spine, requiring emergency surgery.
Following his discharge, Khan was seen waving to cameras with his bandaged hand, indicating a positive recovery. The attack has raised concerns about security in Mumbai's upscale neighborhoods and within the Bollywood community.
